Behind a weathered, adobe wall at the end of Donkey Town is the Arts Compound. 10,000 square feet of semi-industrial, borderline dangerous, warehouse space, chopped into multiple studios. The compound clangs, buzzes, whirrs and hums with creative endeavor. Sweet Ass Studios has it headquarters here, providing composition, sound design and audio production services. There are private artist workshops and an even sometimes adobe factory. You’re welcome to explore the grounds but beware of working artists — respect their creative space and privacy and you should be safe enough.
